THE FEVER – BACK TO AFRICA
A travelling cinema tour
Our main project at the moment is the organization of East African travelling cinema teams equipped with projectors and screens to drive through the villages of Uganda and Kenya and hold presentations of THE FEVER and Artemisia workshops.
Katharina was in Uganda in December to assemble the tour teams and local filmmakers to document these community screening events.

A cinematic-scientific approach to malaria
The conference was a co-operation between Fight the Fever – Verein zur Unterstützung lokaler Strategien gegen Malaria and Österreichische Hochschüler_innenschaft der Universität Wien. It included a screening of “THE FEVER” and multiple panels on decolonizing Medicine and Film.
